Nature-Boy whose real name Mvelo Phakathi is a Hip-Hop artist/producer born and bread in KZN. The young-star was born at Oakford clinic in Verulam on the 3rd of September 1995 and grew up in Cottonlands. His passion for music was already showing at the age of 10 where he first took his piano lessons and started playing in a church band a year later. After high school 2014 - 2015 He was involved in a hip-hop trio and a member of a 7 piece band. On the year 2016 Nature-Boy decided to embark on his music career as a solo artist where he released his hit single "Le Life" and has been his trademark till today. Since then Nature-Boy has performed in big events namely Moshito Festival, Durban Braai Day (Block Party), #Fill_Up_Moses_Mabhida, Durban Beach Festival etc. and has performed alongside Kwesta, AKA, Cassper Nyovest and Mlindo The Vocalist to name a few. Because education is the key to success, he then accumulated a diploma in Music Tech and Sound Engineering and a National Certificate in Radio Production. One of his best songs that has been trending is Zodwa Wabantu which is based on a TV personality Zodwa Libram aka Zodwa Wabantu. Under his name he formed a movement called NatureNation, which was about helping one another as emerging artists. The movement was later registered.
